Yes — every paid plan includes a small premium credit pool that runs on our keys (Starter 3 / Standard 15 / Pro 40 / Pro Max 80 per month). Use it for occasional premium generations, no setup needed. For unlimited use, plug in your own OpenAI / Anthropic key on Pro or Pro Max — your BYO generations are unmetered and you pay the provider directly (typically $0.10–0.30 per article). Most users do a hybrid: platform pool for default DeepSeek volume, BYO for heavy GPT-4o / Claude work.

That's enough for ~5 articles with the default DeepSeek model. When you're ready for volume (more sites, more generations, premium models, BYO keys), upgrade to Starter, Standard, Pro, or Pro Max. No auto-charges, no hidden prompts.

Correct — on Pro and Pro Max. Configure your own DeepSeek, OpenAI, or Anthropic key in Settings → AI Keys, and every generation goes directly through your provider account. We don't bill you for that usage, and it doesn't touch your plan's credit quota. Free, Starter, and Standard don't include BYO — upgrade to Pro ($149/mo) to unlock unlimited BYO generations and premium models.

Large articles (3,600-5,200 words) consume roughly 2× the compute. On Standard / Pro / Pro Max that cost is absorbed by your plan — Large costs the normal text base (1-2 credits depending on actual word count). On Starter, where the per-credit price is tight, we pass through an extra +1 to keep things sustainable. Most Starter users stick to Medium (up to 3,600 words) which always costs 1 credit.

All major credit and debit cards via Paddle (our payment processor). Paddle handles VAT/sales tax automatically, so the price you see is the price you pay.

Yes, with a fairness condition. First subscription is refundable within 14 days if you have used no more than 20% of your monthly credit allowance — generous enough to evaluate quality (e.g. 12 of 60 credits on Starter), structured to prevent generate-then-refund abuse. If you've exceeded the threshold, we offer a prorated partial refund equal to the unused portion. Annual plans get prorated month refunds minus a 20% restocking fee. Consumed credits are non-refundable — the AI cost has already been paid to the provider.
